Creating a quote
The journey in three steps
A quoting process that is not just efficient but tailored to each customer.
Capture customer details
Initiate the quoting process by entering Customer Name, Address and Contact details. This foundational step sets the stage for personalized and targeted interactions.
Tailor quotations with precision
Select one or multiple SPIDs, choose between Wholesale Plus or Retail tariffs and define Margins / Discounts. Customise your quotes by including a Customer Contract and a Direct Debit mandate.
Streamlined quoting workflow
Amend Margins / Discounts and Broker commissions until you are happy with the quote, then send it out for signature without leaving Edge.
Credit checks with Creditsafe
Creditsafe credit information is brought directly into the Quotation Module, so you can assess a prospective customer’s creditworthiness alongside their quotation rather than in a separate system – and understand the risk before you commit a price to it.
Company registration details sit on the quotation itself, checked against Companies House.
From quotation to live account
A quotation does not stop at download and send. Every quotation, whether raised by your own team or by a broker, carries a state and moves through the same tracked lifecycle.

Contracts are signed electronically, with no printing, scanning or posting, and the Direct Debit mandate is approved as part of the same flow. Once signed and approved, Edge automates account setup, SPID transfers and billing handovers.
