Licensed Providers can request API access to the Edge data they need, connecting their own systems, reporting tools and business processes straight to Edge. Access is agreed per Licensed Provider and scoped to the data that connection covers.
Xero Integration
Connect Edge with Xero to cut the manual movement of information between your water retail operations and your accounting.
Creditsafe in Quotations
Creditsafe credit information is brought into the Edge Quotation Module, so your team can assess a prospective customer’s creditworthiness alongside their quotation.

What is Cloudwater Edge?

Which water markets does Edge support?
Edge allows seamless operations across the UK, in both the English market (MOSL) and the Scottish market (CMA). English and Scottish SPIDs can be consolidated on one customer account.
What does Edge include?
Edge has 14 modules: Market, Pricing, Quotation, Brokers, Accounts, SPID, Meter Read, Billing, CRM and Customer Portal, Payment and BACS, Debt Management, Reporting, Logistics and HVI, Settlement.
Do we have to adopt every module at once?
No. Edge is modular, allowing retailers to adopt functionality at their own pace. New capabilities can be added over time without replacing the core system.
Where is Edge hosted?
Edge runs on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, by default on UK based datacentres. It is also possible to host Edge on your own Azure account as part of a SaaS Escrow contract with our Escrow partners.
How is Edge secured?
Cloudwater is ISO/IEC 27001 and Cyber Essentials certified. Edge uses SSL certification, Multi-Factor Authentication through a mobile phone based authentication app, and Roles Based access control so that only the people who need access to your data can get it.
Can Edge connect to our other systems?
Yes. Licensed Providers can request access to an outbound API for the Edge data they need, Edge integrates with Xero for accounting, and Creditsafe credit information is brought into the Quotation Module.
How does moving to Edge work?
Edge is already configured for UK water retail. Migration and go-live take a phased approach, using tried-and-tested methods for data migration and parallel running, backed by UK-based expertise and support.
